Maggie recently inherited a houseful of her parents’ belongings after her father’s death. Since her father’s house sold quickly after his passing, Maggie didn’t have the time or energy to sort through the items before having to move them out. A year later, with furniture, clothing and boxes stored in her home and a storage locker, Maggie got the courage to call us for help, realizing she couldn’t do it alone. Although getting started was emotionally difficult, the process of decision-making became easier as we made progress. Maggie decided to keep a few items that hold special memories of her parents, while other things were distributed to family members or donated to a local charity. Now she enjoys a more stress-free home environment and is saving money that was previously spent on monthly storage locker rental.
